Tuesday, September 06 - PSAT in October
The PSAT is Wednesday, Oct. 19th. There is NO LATE START that day. The cost for juniors is $15.00 and should be paid to Ms. Hefner in Room 316. All freshmen and sophomores will take the test and do not need to sign up.

Tuesday, September 20 - Homecoming 2016
The Week of September 26 - 30 is Homecoming at Westwood. The theme for this year is "Sounds of Westwood." Each class has chosen a sub-theme: Monday is Country Music; Tuesday is Disco; Wednesday is Pop and 80's Music; Thursday is HipHop; and Friday is Black and Red Spirit Day. The pep rally is Friday morning followed by the election of a homecoming king, queen, prince, and princess. Please join the Westwood Family at the game against Lancaster on Friday night at 7:30.

Westwood High School is the site for this fall's District Rally on October 14th. Diamond Del La Rosa is the Westwood Senator in charge of the program which brings schools to Westwood for an all-day conference.
Sunday, October 02 - Annual Harvest Festival
The Fifth Annual Harvest Festival is Sunday, October 30th from 4 - 6 pm at the school. Sponsored by Student Government, clubs and activities at school host Trick or Trunk cars with lots of goodies for children from the local community.

There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, October 14th.
Monday, October 10 - Career Pathways Expo
Richland 2 is sponsoring a Career Pathways Expo on October 27th from 3 - 7pm at R2i2. They invite all 7 - 12 graders and their parents. The address for the event is 763 Fashion Drive at the Village at Sandhills.
Saturday, October 15 - Westwood Prepares for a Schoolwide Day of Service
Plans are underway for students, faculty and staff to participate in a schoolwide Day of Service on Thursday, December 8th. Students will participate in activities on campus and at local organizations to help the community. More specific information will be available soon.

Westwood High School Seniors will graduate on Friday, June 2nd at 12:00.
