Thursday, February 04 - Mark Mickens Benefit Auction
Plans are now well underway for The Taste of Town & Benefit Auction to help the Mickens family with the purchase of a van for Mark's transport. The event is Saturday, March 5th from 11-5 at the school and is sponsored by the Redhawk Football Booster Club. The auction is being held at 3pm. What can you do to help? Tuesday, February 09 - USC Band Clinic
A number of Westwood band students are attending the 2016 USC Band Clinic including Carleton Bailiff, Karrington Gardner, Jose Guzman-Cruz, Maysia Miles, William Ploehn, Meleah Riddle, Tarmon-dre Robinson and James Salmond. Band Director Daniel Humber will perform Saturday night with the Palmetto Concert Band. They will be premiering a new piece "there are no word" by James Stephenson in response to the shooting at the AME Church in Charleston. The concert is at 7:30pm.

Monday, February 15 - Little Shop of Horrors
Rehearsals for Little Shop of Horrors, the theatre department's sprng musical, are underway. The Westwood Actors' Theatre is presenting the musical on March 17th and 18th at 7pm.
Saturday, February 20 - Mr. Westwood Contest
Student Government is again sponsoring the annual Mr. Westwood Contest on Thursday, February 25th at 6:30pm in the school's auditorium. The young men will compete in sportwear and talent. This event is always a crowd favorite. Buy your ticket for only $5.00.
