School Safety Information

Safety screening stations will be active at all five Richland Two high schools, starting Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Las estaciones de control de seguridad estarán activas en las cinco escuelas secundarias de Richland Two a partir del martes 8 de agosto de 2023.

Here are the main points parents and students need to know: 

• The main entrance at each high school will have a safety screening station that operates all day, not just in the morning. This will impact all visitors and students upon entering and exiting school property
• There will be multiple morning entrance points into all high schools
• Student drivers and car riders will need to arrive early to avoid being tardy to class due to possible wait times in line
• Students will need to have their computers, 3-ring binders, and any metal objects (water bottles, etc) taken out of their backpacks as they approach the safety screening stations

Estos son los puntos principales que los padres y los estudiantes deben saber:

• La entrada principal de cada escuela secundaria tendrá una estación de control de seguridad que funcionará todo el día, no solo por la mañana. Esto afectará a todos los visitantes y estudiantes al entrar y salir de la propiedad escolar.
• Habrá múltiples puntos de entrada por la mañana a todas las escuelas secundarias.
• Los estudiantes conductores y los pasajeros de automóviles deberán llegar temprano para evitar llegar tarde a clase debido a los posibles tiempos de espera en la fila.
