SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCIL
 
What:
 
The School Improvement Council (SIC) is an advisory committee to the school's principal.
 
 
Why:
 
It is mandated by the State of South Carolina that there shall be a School Improvement Council that assists with the development and monitoring of school improvement and innovation.
 
 
Who:
   

Parents, students, the principal, administrators, teachers and other community participants are encouraged to participate. All parents are welcome at all the meetings.

When:
 
The majority of the meetings are held on the first Monday of every month in Ridge View High School Library Commons or an outside community location.

Leadership is an important ingredient for all successful organizations and the School Improvement Council (SIC) is no exception. Ridge View High School’s award-winning School Improvement Council is a great place to get involved, and if you have experience in SIC leadership or have previously been involved with SIC and wish to become engaged in a leadership capacity, now is the time to act.
