Communications Department honored with five national awards

2025 nspra awards

Richland School District Two is proud to announce that the Communications and Strategic Partnerships Department has been recognized with five national awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) as part of its prestigious 2025 Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards.

These awards celebrate outstanding communication efforts by school districts across the country. Richland Two’s winning entries span podcasts and video productions, showcasing creativity, storytelling, and a commitment to highlighting the district’s students, educators, and programs.

“The Moore You Know: Free to Focus”
This episode features real conversations between Superintendent Dr. Kim Moore and Richland Two students as they share their perspectives on the new no cell phone policy implemented in January 2025 by the South Carolina Department of Education. The initiative is designed to enhance student focus and engagement in the classroom.

The Communications and Strategic Partnerships Department will be formally recognized for these achievements at the NSPRA National Seminar in July in Washington, DC.
