Centennial Celebration

In 2026, Richland School District Two will proudly celebrate 100 years of excellence in education. This historic milestone honors a century of learning, leadership, and legacy that has shaped generations of students and strengthened our community.
To commemorate this achievement, we are planning a series of special events, including the creation of a Centennial Museum that will showcase the district’s rich history and a Grand Celebration on December 5, 2026, at the Richland Two Performing Arts Center located beside the Richland Two Institute of Innovation (R2i2), 763 Fashion Drive, Columbia, SC.
For a hundred years, Richland Two schools have nurtured leaders, innovators, and changemakers whose influence extends far beyond our district. As we prepare to celebrate this extraordinary legacy, we invite you to become part of the story. Using the form below, please share your photos, artifacts, videos, and memories from years past. Selected items will be featured in the district’s museum, located at the historic Old Killian School on Clemson Road.
Your memories and mementos will help us preserve the spirit of Richland Two—honoring the people, achievements, and moments that have made our schools pillars of learning, opportunity, and excellence for a century.
We are also seeking monetary donations to support the Centennial Museum, historical displays, and the culminating community celebration honoring the achievements of our students, educators, and community members.
