Wednesday, September 23 - Read Your Way to the Big Game
The “Read Your Way to the Big Game” contest provides the opportunity for all elementary and middle school students who meet a six-book challenge to qualify for
tickets to the Palmetto Bowl, the
“big game” between the University
of South Carolina and Clemson
University football teams.
Two students will be chosen at
random to win four tickets each
as well as pre-game passes to the
historic match-up, which will take
place at Williams Brice Stadium in
Columbia on November 28, 2015.
There will be two student winners;
one for the University of
South Carolina and one for Clemson
Two schools with at least 70 percent
participation will be drawn at
random to receive $2,000 for
their school libraries.
Also, five participating teachers
will be chosen, each winning $500
for their classrooms.
Finally, two teachers or school
library media specialists who decorate
bulletin boards, doors, or
walls to promote the challenge
will be entered to win $500 each
for their classrooms or libraries.

and shaped our national character with centuries-old
traditions that reflect the multiethnic and multicultural
customs of their community.
Kelly Mill will hold it's 6th annual Hispanic Heritage assembly
on October 30th at 9:00 A.M. This year's theme
is “Honoring our Heritage. Building our Future.” Please
share in this special annual tribute by learning and celebrating
the generations of Hispanic Americans who
have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.

School District Two is excited to announce our new online payment system! In an
effort to reduce time, money, and paper waste, parents of returning students
can avoid the long lines of school start-up and pay their children’s school
fees through a secure online website that is accessed through the PowerSchool
Parent Portal. With a few simple mouse clicks, parents can view assessed fees,
any outstanding balances, and pay for all of their children in a single
transaction. Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

2015-16 1TWO1 Device Protection Plan - Protection Premium is Required
A prepaid device protection premium of $20 is required for all middle school students for the current school year. If the premium is not paid, the student is assessed the full cost of repair or replacement for all incidents. The first report of theft or accidental damage is covered, with no charge to the student.
