Kindergarten Enrollment

In Richland Two, students attend their neighborhood schools which are determined by attendance maps. Students must reside with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) in order to be eligible for enrollment, and only the parent(s) or legal guardian is allowed to register their student. Families enroll in district schools using ParentPortal. This online process allows parents to provide their child's information electronically and saves time and paperwork.

If your child is currently enrolled in Richland Two in one of our Center for Child Development (4-year-old) classrooms, it is not necessary for you to re-enroll your child in kindergarten. Your child's enrollment will automatically "roll up" to your neighborhood kindergarten elementary school, according to your home address.

Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is open.  Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1 to enroll.

Students must attend the school that serves their legal residence unless the student has been approved for the Choice Program or has a District approved transfer. Fees and additional requirements are applicable at each school. Please contact the individual school that your child is scheduled to attend for more information.
