Schools Closed to Choice

Each school in Richland School District Two is either open for Expanded Choice or Schoolwide Magnet selection in the Richland Two Choice Lottery Process.  The following schools have been determined to be at or above their program capacity and will be closed to either Expanded Choice or their Schoolwide Magnet program.

SCHOOLS CLOSED TO CHOICE I FOR 2025-2026

Elementary Schools

• Polo Road Elementary (CLOSED to Expanded Choice)

• Pontiac Elementary School (CLOSED to Expanded Choice)

• ​Sandlapper Elementary (CLOSED to Schoolwide Magnet Choice: Computer Science Immersion)

Middle Schools

• Muller Road Middle (CLOSED to Expanded Choice) 

• ​Summit Parkway Middle (CLOSED to Expanded Choice)

High Schools

• Blythewood High (CLOSED to Expanded Choice)

• Spring Valley High (CLOSED to Expanded Choice)

Note: If the above schools have School-Within-a-School magnets, the School-Within-a-School magnet programs will remain open.
