The R2 Magnet Program gives Richland Two students opportunities to dive into dynamic fields of study and special interests at all grade levels.
Our Magnet Program is a model for school districts across the country. The district started its first magnet, The Learning Collaborative (TLC), a program for motivated and high-achieving middle school students more than 30 years ago. Since then, the program has continued to expand and develop more engaging, innovative programs to prepare students for the professions of the future. Models include virtual learning, health sciences, performance arts, mass single-gender instructional settings, language immersion, mass media, journalism & technology and more. Students are encouraged to be creative and challenged by high standards and exposed to potential career opportunities related to their fields of studies.
