Certified positions typically require South Carolina Certification. Classified positions encompass a wide range of roles, including office, classroom support, maintenance, security, and transportation.

Please note that Food Service positions are managed by Southwest FoodService Excellence (SFE), and Custodial Services positions are handled by Service Solutions.

Title I School Requirements

To be considered for positions at Title I schools, candidates must be highly qualified. Your application can only be reviewed by hiring managers once these requirements are met.

To achieve this Highly Qualified designation, please upload any one of these items to your current application:

  • College transcript(s) showing at least 60 hours of credit.
  • A diploma indicating an earned Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Official score report from the ParaPro exam with a score of 456 or higher. To register for the exam, contact the W.R. Rogers Adult Education Center at 803-736-8787 as soon as possible. Score reports are typically available within 24 hours of completing the exam.

Please note: Passing the ParaPro exam does not guarantee employment with Richland School District Two.

Important Application Reminders

To ensure your application for district positions is complete and considered, please provide the following detailed information:

  • Supervisor/Reference Contact Information: Ensure that you include up-to-date contact details for your supervisors and references.
  • Employment Dates: List the start and end dates for each of your previous positions.
  • Responsibilities and Achievements: Provide a comprehensive overview of your responsibilities and key achievements for at least the past 5 to 8 years of your work history.
  • Reason for Leaving: Briefly explain your reason for leaving each position.

Additionally, we require two to three professional references. One of these references must be from your current or most recent supervisor. Don't forget to log back into your application to add your current supervisor’s details if you haven't already.
