Sold on Two

Richland Two is a thriving teaching and learning community. With over 4,000 dedicated employees, the district serves a population of over 28,000 students spanning from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. Richland Two is the fastest-growing district in the Midlands and the fifth-largest in South Carolina. We have the largest number (12.5%) of military connected students of all the school districts in South Carolina. We are the school district for Fort Jackson and for military connected students who live in our district and whose parents work at other military installations in South Carolina.

The district's extensive educational infrastructure includes 20 elementary schools, seven middle schools, and five high schools, offering a comprehensive educational journey for students. Additionally, four magnet centers, a student innovation center, an adult education center, virtual programs, and a center for child development further enrich the educational landscape.

Richland Two prides itself on offering diverse learning opportunities tailored to meet the needs of every student. From magnet programs that cater to specific interests to initiatives like AVID early college and dual-enrollment programs, the district ensures that students have access to a wide array of educational pathways. This commitment to variety and innovation fosters an environment where students can thrive and excel in their academic pursuits.

Visit our Awards and Honors page to learn about the numerous recognitions earned by our students, staff, school and district each year.
