Minority Business Enterprise Plan
South Carolina law requires that all State agencies or agencies that have adopted a procurement code that is similar to the State’s code formulate a Minority Business Enterprise Utilization Plan. Richland Two’s Minority Business Enterprise Plan was adopted in February 2001.
- The district seeks to engage minority businesses and afford them the opportunity to fully participate in all phases of the procurement process.
- Richland Two shall make every effort via a provider listing to include minority businesses in the selection process.
- The plan's goal is to afford small, women and minority owned-businesses that meet South Carolina’s certification requirements the opportunity to participate in our procurement process.
Providers seeking to become a South Carolina certified minority business may contact the S.C. Division of Small and Minority Business Contracting and Certification (SMBCC) at 1205 Pendleton Street, Suite 453C, Columbia, South Carolina, 29201 or at 803.734.5010.
