On June 25, 2024, the State Board of Education unanimously passed Uniform Procedure for Selection or Reconsideration of Instructional Materials (Regulation 43-170) This regulation allows for material challenges brought by a parent or legal guardian of a student within a respective district beginning August 1, 2024.

Follett supports all R2 school catalogs of library media materials. Items can be searched by title, author or subject.
Digital and ebooks
Infobase's Middle/High School eBook Collection gives you convenient access to more than 7,000 acclaimed eBooks from the award-winning Facts On File, Chelsea House, Ferguson’s, and Bloom’s imprints. Correlated to all major educational standards the collection includes a wide range of subjects—from ancient history and biographies, to mathematics, animals, nature, and more. These titles are available for all middle/high school students in Richland Two.
The SORA catalog shows ALL books in the district's SORA collection, K-12. When students search with their district logins, they only see grade level appropriate books set for elementary only, middle/elementary, and high school/middle/elementary.
