Richland Two has 35 Nationally Certified Magnet programs, 26 Nationally Certified Demonstration Magnets, and 48 programs have been recognized since 2010 with Merit Awards of Excellence and Distinction. Educational themes include leadership, dual language immersion, exercise physiology and sports medicine, Montessori, single gender, STEM, STEAM, STEAM+Medical, zoological and botanical sciences, fine arts, business and law, business and economics, civic engagement, and much more.
The online application process for Choice begins November 4, 2024, at 8 a.m. and ends December 13, 2024, at 5 p.m. Families may apply online at www.richland2.org/choice
Only students residentially zoned for Richland Two are eligible. Parents and/or guardians must provide transportation for all Choice options.
Some expanded choice schools and schoolwide magnet programs may be closed to Choice this year. Please check the Richland Two website www.richland2.org/schools-closed-to-choice for the most updated information.
