Richland Two will switch to an e-Learning Day - Thursday, January 23, 2025
Specific instructions, including teacher virtual office hours, will be communicated to students and parents from their teachers and schools.
Richland School District Two will switch to an e-learning day on Thursday, January 23, 2025, due to the potential for hazardous travel conditions. This means all school buildings and district facilities will be closed and all after-school activities are canceled.
As an e-learning district, approved by the S.C. Department of Education, Richland Two will provide asynchronous instruction to students. Teachers will post assignments in Google Classroom (or provide paper packets).
Specific instructions, including teacher virtual office hours, will be communicated to students and parents from their teachers and schools.
All assignments must be completed and turned in by the following due dates:
- Wednesday, January 29, 2025 - for students to be marked present for Thursday, January 23, 2025
- Tuesday, January 28, 2025 - for students to be marked present for Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Richland Two administrators have been monitoring the weather forecast. We have also received updates from city and county emergency officials. The decision to switch to an e-learning/remote work day is based on forecasted icy road conditions and low temperatures. Click here for details about how we make winter weather decisions.
