Windsor Wildcat Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to recognize and support former students of Windsor Elementary School, as well as students whose parent or legal guardian is currently employed at Windsor Elementary, as they pursue the next stage of their education. Because elementary school represents a critical foundation in a student’s academic journey, our goal is to continue encouraging and assisting these scholars as they transition into higher education.  

1. Eligibility Criteria for College Scholarship Grant

2. Any student who attended Windsor Elementary for at least two years and was impacted by our school OR whose parent and/or legal guardian is currently employed at Windsor Elementary for at least two years and committed to returning for the 2026-2027 school year. 

3. The applicant must be a graduating student enrolled in a Richland School District Two high school.  

4. The student must complete all parts of the application.

5. The student must have plans to attend a college, university, or technical school located/based in South Carolina.  Online university programs are not considered eligible.

6. The student must complete the application and upload the a copy of their unofficial transcript, college or university acceptance letter, two letters of reference, and their personal essay.  The application packet must be received by Friday, April 17, 2026. The scholarship recipient(s) will be notified on Friday, May 1, 2026.

7. The Windsor Elementary School SIC will award scholarships through the Richland Two Education Foundation to the selected recipient(s) during Windsor Elementary's 5th-Grade Promotion Ceremony on Monday, May 18th at 5:30 PM at E.L. Wright Middle School.
