MICHAEL J. LOWDER SCHOLARSHIP
The Richland School District Two Education Foundation Michael J. Lowder Scholarship was established in memory of Michael Lowder who was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and Clemson University. All qualifying seniors attending a Richland School District Two high school who plan to attend Clemson University are eligible to apply for this $1500 scholarship. Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2024.
Deadline extensions will not be granted and incomplete applications will not be considered or reviewed.

Application Requirements
To be considered, the following items must be uploaded with your application packet:

Completed scholarship application

Unofficial transcript copy
-
Letter of academic and leadership recommendation from a school representative or teacher

Letter of recommendation addressing volunteerism from a school or community representative
-
An essay (250 words or less, typed and double spaced) about a book or piece of literature that has affected you and why

An acceptance letter from Clemson University
