It is FLU season!
Flu-like symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body
aches, headache, chills, fatigue, and, vomiting or diarrhea. Your child does not have to have all of the
symptoms to be diagnosed with the Flu.
What can YOU do to
protect yourself and others?
to get a flu vaccine for you and your child.
Encourage your child to wash their hands with
soap and water often.
Teach your child to cover coughs and sneezes.
Please do not send your child to school if he or
she has had a fever and one or more other symptoms of a flu-like illness. Please
keep your child home from school for at least 24 hours AFTER the fever is
