Wednesday, April 29 - ACT Workkeys® will be administered to all 11th grade students.
There is no cost to students or families to take ACT Workkeys®. This assessment tests real-world skills that employers seek in everyday situations. ACT Workkeys® evaluates students for career readiness. Students who successfully complete the three parts of this assessment may earn an ACT National Career Readiness Certificate™. Based on performance, certification is provided at platinum, gold, silver, and bronze levels. Depending on the student’s score, these levels and the certificate they earn indicate whether they have the foundational readiness to work in up to 99 percent of jobs in the Workkeys® database. Doing well on ACT Workkeys® and earning the highest level certificate possible can help high school students find summer and part-time jobs as well as internships.

Monday, April 20 - Time to verify and update student information.
For the 2015–2016 school year, Richland School District Two is streamlining the process of providing annual proof of residence, verifying student information, and reviewing and completing parent/guardian agreements.
On April 14, 2015, parents/legal guardians should have received an email containing a “snapcode” and instructions for creating an account through the online system. The snapcode in the email is like a key to student's data for the upcoming school year.
If there isn't a primary parent email in PowerSchool, parents/legal guardians will receive a letter in the mail that explains how to register their child online. Families that have not received a letter or an email by the end of this week, should call their child’s school and speak to the school registrar.
For more information, please visit the Enrollment and Annual Registration page.
