The beginning of the school year can be a stressful time, especially when it comes to purchasing school supplies. In an effort to offset back-to-school expenses for families in need, Richland School District Two joined a number of community businesses, organizations and volunteers to sponsor Stuff-The-Bus and Stuff-A-Cruiser donation drives throughout northeast Richland County.
Richland Two Transition Specialist Sarah Park from Blythewood High School, highlighted the work that she and other Transition Specialists are doing to help our students with disabilities be college and/or career-ready.
Faculty Focus: New to Two
Two of the district’s first year teachers and Richland Two graduates, Martin Sims from Spring Valley High School and Kiara Pauling from Catawba Trail Elementary School, spoke about the support they have received from the district as new teachers and their reasons for returning to Richland Two to begin their teaching careers.
Richland School District Two will operate on a two-hour delay, Tuesday, September 12, 2017. The delay will provide time for district and school administrators to check bus routes and school campuses for any damages caused by severe weather.
Application closes Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 5 p.m.
