4/29/2020 - Congratulations to RNH Palmetto Fellows Seniors
The Palmetto Fellows Scholarship is a merit-based program established in 1988 to recognize academically talented high school seniors and encourage these students to attend college in the State. The Palmetto Fellows Scholarship Program is administered by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.

3/15/2020 - Expectations for e-Learning (all students)

3/10/2020 - School Counselors are Conducting Individual Graduation Plan Conferences with Freshmen and Parents
The School Counseling department is meeting with Freshmen and their parents for Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) conferences from Monday, March 2nd through Friday, April 10th. Freshmen and their parents will be presented with information as it pertains to graduation requirements, scholarships, diploma pathway endorsements, college and career readiness, and other pertinent information that will assist them with their post-secondary endeavors of being enrolled, enlisted or employed.

3/10/2020 - The Navy Virtual Reality Simulator Semi-Truck Visits RNE on March 12!
On March 12th, 2020, NIMITZ (Navy Virtual Reality Simulator Semi- Truck) will be on campus all day. Experience virtual reality missions, briefing, debrief, photo booths, etc. Seniors and Juniors will have priority. After school access for students until 5:30 pm. Students participating will require a waiver with a parent or legal guardian signature. The Career Development Facilitators will have waivers in A-108 (Career Center) provided by NIMITZ.

If the answer is yes, please plan to attend the presentation by Aaron Lucas (RNE Hall of Fame Inductee, former Gamecock standout and basketball coach) on Feb 27th @ 6pm in the auditorium on the campus of RNE. Another busy month for RNE. School Counseling Week is Feb 3-7th. Home Basketball games on Feb 4. On Feb 5 we have Horizon interviews and a PCA Visual Arts workshop. PCA auditions are the week of Feb 11. JV & Varsity softball scrimmage on Feb 20.
1/28/2020 - Congratulations to Aisha Mack and Cameron Kirschbaum!
1st Place in Website Design at the Future Business Leaders of America District Leadership Conference. These students will be representing South Carolina and RNE at the National Conference later this year. Mrs. Shetina Mason is their Business Education teacher and FBLA sponsor.

12/9/2019 - 2019 Chick-Fil-A Classic Proudly Hosted by Richland Northeast High School
The 18th Annual Chick-fil-A Classic Holiday Basketball Tournament is excited to announce the teams for the 2019 Tournament. The tournament features 16 teams representing the states of South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, California, Arizona, West Virginia, New Jersey, Indiana and Pennsylvania. Five (5) defending state champions and over 30 nationally ranked players are scheduled to participate in this year’s tournament/showcase. Click on picture for more information.
12/2/2019 - RNE-TV Live named top student news program in nation!
Convergence Media Does It Again! Pacemaker National Winners.
On top of that, they won FIRST place in Broadcast News, Second place and honorable mention broadcast sports, and fourth place Broadcast Best of Show. The literary magazine received honorable mention for best cover. These student journalists have proven in the past two years that they are committed to storytelling and produce at the highest level in the NATION! (Click on image for more)

Current December Projects: Families Helping Families. Knitting scarves for the homeless. New sock donations. Collecting cans of food for Harvest Hope. Help us by donating new socks or canned goods. Drop off in the Main Office by Dec 13.

RNE graduation is at noon on June 6th at the Colonial Life Arena. All participants must arrive at the arena by 10:30 a.m. Please view Richland Northeast's website for the parking map.
