Richland School District Two will operate on a two-hour delay, Tuesday, September 12, 2017. The delay will provide time for district and school administrators to check bus routes and school campuses for any damages caused by severe weather.
A two-hour delay means school start times are pushed back two hours. For example, a school that usually starts instruction at 8 a.m. will start at 10 a.m. Child-care programs, such as the Boys and Girls Club, which open before school starts will also open two hours later than normal.
In a two-hour delay: (1) students who ride the bus should report to their bus stops two hours later than usual; (2) car-riders should report to their schools two hours later than usual; and (3) employees who have not been notified otherwise, should report to work two hours later than usual.
