Special Called Board Meeting Tuesday, January 17

The Richland School District Two Board of Trustees will hold a special called board meeting on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. The board meeting will be called to order at 4:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the R2i2 Conference Center located at 763 Fashion Drive, Columbia, 29229.

To provide members of the public the ability to watch the board meeting from the safety of their home, the meeting will also be streamed live at www.richland2.org/livestream.

The safety and security of Richland Two’s students, employees and guests is a top priority at all district and school events including public board meetings. Following are important reminders to help maintain a safe environment for all and to uphold the district’s Core Values of Learning, Character, Community and Joy:

To avoid blocking the main entrance to the building, protests are not allowed in front of the doors to the lobby of R2i2.
Any person attending the meeting who is out of order, loud, disruptive, making inappropriate comments, and/or posing a safety concern will be asked to be seated or leave by a security officer. If the person does not comply, a Richland County Sheriff’s Deputy will escort them off the property.
No signage or other objects will be allowed into the facility that could either be a distraction or used as a weapon.
