Report: 2016–2017 General Fund Survey Results

Each year, staff members in Richland Two are asked to provide input through a district survey to direct the Richland Two School Board of Trustees as they create a district budget for the following year. Chief Financial Officer Harry Miley presented the results of the survey to the board.

Report: Principal for a Day

Assistant Superintendent Baron Davis presented an overview of the recent Principal For A Day (PFAD) program held in Richland Two. PFAD programs have a long track record of success in many school districts. Inviting community leaders to shadow a principal for a day is a concept designed to help participants understand the rewards and rigors of the principalship. The PFAD program has resulted in appreciation and respect for schools, teachers and principals, and it has built lasting public relations benefits. This is the second year Richland Two has offered the PFAD program to community.

A complete recording of each board meeting is aired on the district’s cable access channel 12 R2TV on Time Warner Cable and on demand anytime through the district’s YouTube channel.
