Update: Middle School
The Middle School Success Task Force presented a report to the board detailing some of the initiatives and success from the 2015–2016 school year. Since 2013, Middle School Success has been a district priority. The middle school principals and the middle level team have partnered together to move Richland Two Middle Schools in a positive direction. The middle level team worked this year to support teachers and schools, and provide continual professional development in a variety of ways in order to meet the needs of all ​middle level teachers.

The board received an update on the R2i2 Student Advisory Panel, first faculty and staff meeting and the Think Tank.

Report: Behavior Intervention Continuum and Alternatives
The board received a report on the Behavior Intervention Continuum and Alternatives. This report shared details about short and extended term intervention services offered to students, and future goals for the programs.

The Superintendent's Annual Report included end-of-year quick facts about the district and the cumulative list of awards recognized at the board meetings during the 2015-2016 school year. Superintendent Dr. Debbie Hamm also presented a video highlighting some of the key moments from the year.
