GUIDANCE COUNSELOR IS THE RECIPIENT OF THE DECEMBER 2021 CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE AWARD

The December 2021 recipient of the Culture of Excellence award is Tommie Glover. Glover serves as the School Counselor at Rice Creek Elementary school. 

Assistant principal Wanda Wells nominated Glover for the award stating, “His demeanor is one that should be emulated throughout the school - the district. He has a willing, get-the-job-done spirit. Each interaction he has with students and adults is pleasant and productive. He is the epitome of a servant leader. We are grateful to have him at Rice Creek.” 

Mr. Glover was a finalist for the district’s LSS Staff Person of the Year award, and is equally deserving of the Culture Award.

The Culture of Excellence award is a monthly award designed to recognize faculty and staff members who go above and beyond their regular duties. Winners receive a certificate, name plaque to display outside their classroom or office and a Visa gift card.
