CYBER PROTECTION FOR BUSINESSES AND CONSUMERS FEBRUARY 25
CYBER PROTECTION FOR BUSINESSES AND CONSUMERS FEBRUARY 25
2/18/2020
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Cybersecurity issues are a concern for both individuals and businesses. Eighty percent of cloud services allow users to set up weak passwords and 30 percent of users reuse the same password on multiple accounts. Recent security research suggests that most companies have unprotected data and poor cybersecurity practices in place, making them vulnerable to data loss.
The Decker Boulevard Business Coalition in collaboration with Richland School District Two, will sponsor an informational meeting about Cyber Protection for businesses and consumers on February 25, from 9-10 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Richland Two Conference Center at Columbia Place Mall, Room 2B.
Cedric Wright, Outreach Coordinator with the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs, will talk to participants about data protection programs and services, and how to protect your networks and systems from digital attacks.
