Board votes to forgive days

Richland School District Two students will not have to make up two school days missed in the fall of 2018. The Richland Two Board of Trustees voted to approve a waiver for two days at the February 12, 2019 meeting. The days were missed due to county closures ordered by Governor Henry McMaster ahead of potential hurricanes in September and October 2018.

Students missed a total of five days and made up three during the first semester. In deciding to forgive the days, the board took into consideration the potential for more inclement weather this spring.
