BRIDGE CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL WINS ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
BRIDGE CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL WINS ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
2/15/2021
MED at Bridge Creek Elementary School (MED at BCE) principal Kristen Eubanks received high honors recently at the annual conference of the South Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals (SCAEOP). Eubanks was named the SCAEOP Educational Administrator of the Year.
In her eighth year as principal, Eubanks has experienced much success in transforming her school into a whole school Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, Medical (STEAM-M) magnet school. Students now have the opportunity to engage in 21st century learning through AVID, Project Based Learning, and STEAM-M integration.
“Thank you SCAEOP for this incredible recognition. I am grateful and blessed to be able to work alongside our talented office professionals and dedicated faculty and staff at MED at BCE,” said Eubanks. “I attribute this recognition to the outstanding work of our entire MED at BCE team. It is truly an honor to receive this incredible award.”
Eubanks’ accomplishments have been recognized at the local, state, and national levels. Under her leadership, MED at BCE was recognized as the recipient of the 2020 Whole Child Award by South Carolina ASCD. Magnet Schools of America named it a 2020 New and Emerging Magnet School of Distinction. Eubanks has recently been selected 2021 Administrator of the Year by the Richland County Association of Educational Office Professionals and to the South Carolina ASCD Emerging Leaders Program.
Eubanks received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and her Master of Arts degree in Teaching from the University of South Carolina. She received her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Capella University.
