Voting A Contractual Matter Regarding the Sale of Property

The board voted to approve the sale of 2,000 square-feet of land at the intersection of Risdon Way and North Springs for $900.00 to the SCDOT for the purpose of improving the intersection.

 

 

Update: Elementary 20

The Richland Two Planning Department provided an update on the progress of Elementary 20 including the attendance line process and time line. Elementary 20 will open for the 2017–2018 school year.

 

 

Report: Elementary 20 Naming Committee

Elementary 20 Principal Dr. Marshalynn Franklin presented the naming committee’s recommendation for the board consideration. The committee has recommended the school be named Jackson Creek Elementary for the creek that is part of the Gills creek Watershed where the school is located.

 

 

Report: Revisions to Policy IKE (Promotion and Retention)

The board received as information suggested revisions to policy IKE (Promotion and Retention).
