Richland Two April 10, 2018 School Board Meeting Highlights
At 5:30 p.m., after calling the meeting to order, the Richland Two Board of Trustees convened in executive session to discuss legal matters; personnel matters; student expulsions; student appeals; employment recommendations; and employment releases and in-district transfers. Public session resumed at 6:30 p.m.
Faculty Focus
Dr. Hope Reed from Blythewood High School shared a new initiative she coordinates called Freshmen Retreat. Freshmen Retreat helps ninth-graders navigate the transition from middle school to high school.

Special Recognitions
Robert Braswell from Blythewood High School was selected to play in the 2018 Carolinas Classic All-Star Basketball Game.

Crystal Smith and Amy Whitfield from Blythewood High School received the Outstanding School Library Program of the Year Award from the S.C. Association of School Librarians.
