The School Improvement Council (SIC) meets each month during the school year. Please check the Communigator Blog or school calendar for meeting time and location.
School Improvement Councils were initiated as a means of restoring the influential voice of parents and community members in the education of their children. SIC members are to be active participants in the 5-year strategic planning process for improved student achievement, assist in the monitoring and evaluation of innovations and improvements, and assist in the writing of the annual updates of the plan. In conjunction with the school's principal, SIC members are responsible to write the narrative on the school report card.
