What’s New in the Human Resources’ Substitute Teacher Office?

The Human Resources Department is pleased to announce the new web-based Substitute Placement & Absence Management System – AESOP!  Aesop is managed by Frontline Technologies. SubFinder will no longer be used. Effective August 1, 2015, we will begin using Aesop. We are confident this transition to Aesop will be smooth!  All employees eligible for a substitute and approved substitute teachers will receive a Welcome to Aesop letter with instructions on how to use the system. We look forward to a successful new school year! 


Substitute teachers help maintain our students' academic progress because they are committed to quality teaching and learning. In the absence of the regular classroom teacher, they are making a difference in our schools. As part of the community, you too can help make a difference in the lives of children. Generally, some individuals substitute teach not only for the flexible schedule but for the invaluable experience they receive in the classroom. Working with a great team of administrators and school staff is an added bonus.
