Transportation

For the 2022-2023 school year, school bell times will be changing.  This will affect bus routes, particularly the times buses arrive at stops.  Routes for 2022-2023 have been posted here.  Routes are subject to change.

The Richland School District Two Transportation Office operates 88 regular route buses and 39 special needs buses on over 700 bus routes to provide students transportation each school day. District buses on average travel more than 12,000 miles each day (over 2.2 million miles a year). A wide range of extra-curricular activities and athletic teams are transported on the district's activity vehicles and school buses, bringing the annual number of miles driven to well over 2.7 million.

The district has four transportation hubs: Killian, Richland Northeast, Special Needs and Activities (which supports the entire district for field trips).
 

Our mission is to transport students to and from school in a safe and timely manner. The Transportation Department provides support for the following services: transportation to and from school for eligible students, field trips, special Services, after school programs and summer school programs.
