The Richland School District Two Transportation Department operates 78 regular route buses and 39 special needs buses on 665 bus routes to provide students transportation each school day.  Richland School District Two school buses on average travel more than 12,000 miles each day (over 2.29 million miles a year). A wide range of extra-curricular activities and athletic teams are transported on the district's activity vehicles and school buses, bringing the annual number of miles driven to well over 2.2 million.

The district has four transportation hubs: Killian, Richland Northeast, Support Service (Special Needs), which covers the entire district and Activity which supports the entire district for field trips.
