Kristen Eubanks, Principal

Kristen Eubanks proudly serves as the principal of Bridge Creek Elementary. Mrs. Eubanks loves being a part of the Cougar Community and she looks forward to working with the Bridge Creek family again this year. Along with the staff at Bridge Creek, she believes that it is the primary role of educators to give “every child, every chance, every day”. Mrs. Eubanks enjoys working in a partnership with the Bridge Creek teachers, parents, and community to ensure every student is challenged, yet nurtured in a positive atmosphere where they are capable of reaching extraordinary goals.                                       

Her career as an educator began in Richland School District Two. She taught for several years at Lake Carolina Elementary before becoming the Assistant Principal and then Principal at Bridge Creek Elementary. This will be her 12th year at BCE.

Mrs. Eubanks earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. After deciding to change her career to fulfill her need to work with children, she earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina.  Mrs. Eubanks has completed her Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration from Capella University. 

Under her leadership, MED at Bridge Creek has been named the 2020 South Carolina ASCD Whole Child School, as well as a  Magnet Schools of America New and Emerging School of Distinction. She has recently been named the Richland County Educational Office Professionals and South Carolina Educational Office Professionals' Administrator of the Year. 

Additionally, Mrs. Eubanks has been married for eighteen years and has a son, Joseph, who will be in eighth grade this year.  In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time on the lake with her family and friends.

Taurean Robinson, Assistant Principal

Mr. Robinson is eager to begin his 10th year in Richland Two and his 5th year as an administrator.

Mr. Robinson earned his Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Carolina in 2010 and began his educational career at Bridge Creek Elementary where he taught 4th and 5th grades. After earning a Master’s in Educational Leadership from University of South Carolina in 2015, he moved on to Pontiac Elementary where he served as an Assistant Principal. This year, Mr. Robinson rejoins the BCE staff to serve as an Assistant Principal.

In his spare time Mr. Robinson enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, and running as long as he can listen to music.

Christi Wuori, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Wuori is entering her 22nd year in Richland Two - 26th in public education - and proudly serves as an Assistant Principal at Bridge Creek Elementary School. 

Mrs. Wuori met her husband while they both were student-teaching at Pontiac Elementary School in 1995. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina, Mrs. Wuori began her teaching career in Richland One teaching Kindergarten and Child Development at Gadsden and Mill Creek Elementary Schools. Since moving to Richland Two, she has served as a teacher of students, a Lead Teacher Coach, a Parent Educator, a Parent Involvement Coordinator, a Literacy Coach, and an Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Wuori earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Walden University and her Education Specialist degree from Capella University. 

The mother to 2 kids (one at Spring Valley High School and one at the University of South Carolina), 1 dog (Emmy), and 1 cat (Esteban), when Mrs. Wuori is not at Bridge Creek or working on her dissertation, she and her family support the Spring Valley Marching Band, go to music concerts, attend USC football games, go fishing at the beach or hiking in the mountains, and swim in their backyard pool with their puppy, Emmy. (Esteban watches from the window. He’s not a fan of getting wet!)
