High School Equivalency Program

The W.R. Rogers Adult, Continuing and Technology Education Center offers GED classes for out-of-school adults. The General Educational Development (GED) program is an alternative for earning a South Carolina High School credential. 
The GED Test covers the following subject areas:
     Language Arts (Reading/Writing)
     Social Studies  
All students wishing to enter a GED preparation class are required to complete an initial assessment (TABE) and attend an orientation session before beginning class. Classes begin every six weeks.

 AM classes: Monday-Thursday 8:30AM - 12:10PM
 PM classes:  Tuesday & Thursday 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM


No Enrollment Fees: All GED Classes are free

Walk-In Regsitration for classes occurs Monday through Friday 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM at the W.R. Rogers Center, 750 Old Clemson Road, Columbia, SC
