Darci Rush is a veteran journalist, South Carolina native and the R2 Senior Chief Communications Officer. The Order of the Palmetto is the highest award bestowed on South Carolina citizens.

Design Process in Action, the Pumpkin Drop

For the past four years, CFA students have designed a pumpkin protection device to shield their pumpkin from a 50 foot drop. Students use the design process and get creative!

Longleaf Middle | LEAP & ZooBot Magnet Programs

All Longleaf students participate in LEAP, an engineering and arts program. Zoobot is a smaller learning community within the school where students explore, investigate, learn about environmental science, plant and animal life.

AVID EARLY COLLEGE signature programs

Palmetto Center for the Arts is the Visual and Performing Arts Magnet for Richland School District Two. The program, which includes dance, music, theatre and visual arts, is nationally recognized.

Sandlapper Elementary | Computer Science Immersion School

The Computer Science Magnet Program prepares students in work, life and citizenship by providing computer science coding skills to become effective collaborators and communicators.
