The vision for Keels is to create and sustain an academically challenging environment for all students,    

as well as to prepare them to be successful, civically minded adults in a global society.  

 Mission Statement:

 creates learning opportunities by enhancing academics with real life experiences." 

The School of Entrepreneurial Leadership 

The School of Entrepreneurial Leadership, a school-within-a school at Keels Elementary School, will equip students to be financially literate and economically competitive in today’s rapidly changing 

global economy. The school uses a project-based curriculum, aligned with South Carolina standards, to introduce relevancy into learning by incorporating real-world experiences where students 

apply classroom learning to real-life situations. Key components of this program are: a specialized state-of-the art science studio designed to promote critical and higher order thinking skills, a 

broadcast studio that introduces students to the media world of reporting the news at Keels and around the world, a digital media studio that gives students the opportunity to learn about digital 

editing and the delivery of images, video, audio, pod casting and vod casting, and a collaborative studio that promotes cooperation, collaboration, and project management skills.
