Career Experience:
Mrs. Hafner begins her second year
at Blythewood Middle. She began her teaching career at E.L. Wright
Middle School, here in
Richland Two, and remained there for 10 of her 14 years in education. In that
time, she served as a classroom teacher for both the students at E.L. Wright Middle School and the Leadership Academy
at Wright (L.A.W.), as the curriculum effectiveness specialist, an assistant
principal, and as the assistant principal for curriculum and instruction. Mrs.
Hafner opened the Center for Accelerated Preparation in 2008 before coming to Blythewood Middle School.

Education:
She received her bachelor’s degree in political science
from the University
of South Carolina and her
Master of Arts in Teaching from The Citadel. She is currently pursuing her
doctorate degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern
University. She and her
husband, Brian, grew up in Columbia
and are both products of our excellent educational system in Richland Two.
