Congratulations to the following students: John Brooks and Samantha Reynolds were named Commended Students for the National Merit Scholarship. Brittany Pifer is a SemiFinalist for the National Merit Scholarship. Jori Kelly, Gabriel Bethel, and Deandre Harris are Semifinalists for the National Achievement Scholarship.
  

 

 

ChefAward Chef William Turner has been named the National Restaurant Association's Educator of Excellence for South Carolina.  He is now a finalist for their National Teacher of the Year award.  Way to go Chef!

A representative from Voorhees College (Denmark, SC) will talk with interested college-bound students during lunchtime in the Atrium.

 

February 11

A representative from Winthrop University (Rock Hill, SC) will talk with interested college-bound students beginning 10:10 a.m. in the College & Career Center. Interested seniors, juniors and sophomores are encouraged to sign up in the College & Career Center to attend.

A representative from Converse College (Spartanburg, SC) will talk with interested college-bound students beginning 10:10 a.m. in the College & Career Center. Interested seniors, juniors and sophomores are encouraged to sign up in the College & Career Center to attend.

February 19

 ASVAB-the 3-hour military entrance exam is scheduled beginning 8:45 in the morning at the school. Interested seniors and juniors must to sign up in the College & Career Center to take the test.
