Who We Are
The Public Information Department, an arm of the Superintendent’s Division, works in accordance with board policy to keep the citizens of the district regularly and thoroughly informed through all available channels of communication. This departmen
t is staffed with a public information officer, a multimedia production manager, two video producers, Web content coordinator, a secretary and two receptionists (serving the District Office).
What We Do
The Public Information Department is responsible for several internal and external publications including, the Back 2 School Handbook, NewsGram (community newsletter), the Annual Report and various advertisements. The Public Information Department is the contact point for media inquiries and Freedom of Information Act requests. This department manages, programs and produces content for R2TV, the district’s award-winning cable access channel 12. We work behind the scenes writing content for the this Web site. Additionally, we utilize the Connect-Ed phone messaging system to disseminate general and emergency information to parents and students.
